Delta Center’s Next Renovation Phase Adds More Premium Hospitality Inventory
Smith Entertainment Group’s latest offseason work will introduce new sideline gondolas, terrace-style upper-bowl seating, and north-side suite renovations as part of the largest redevelopment in Delta Center’s history.
Smith Entertainment Group has started the next phase of its Delta Center renovation, continuing a multi-year project designed to reshape the Salt Lake City arena for both NBA and NHL use. The latest offseason work follows the first phase completed in 2025 and is part of a broader renovation plan that includes a $525 million public contribution.
This year's phase includes two of the project’s most visible premium additions. Suspended gondolas will be built along both sidelines, creating elevated hospitality and gathering areas for more than 200 fans with direct views of the event floor. Smith Entertainment Group also said the upper-north end zone will gain new terrace-style ledges with full-view seating, extending the bowl’s premium and social inventory higher into the building.

The premium work also extends to the arena’s suites, with refreshed interior design and suite extensions across Level 4. Smith Entertainment Group is working with SCI Architects, Okland Construction, and CAA Icon on the redevelopment.
The current round of work is also scheduled to deliver the new southwest parking structure before the 2026-27 season. Local coverage said the structure is intended to serve premium season-ticket holders, tying parking access more directly into the arena’s hospitality offering.
Looking ahead, 2027 plans call for a dynamic south-end slope connecting the lower and upper levels more directly, along with additional suite work, continued concourse and club-area refreshes, and more restroom expansion.
