Ravens and CareFirst Turn Club-Level Sponsorship Into a Year-Round Community Platform
A renewed multi-year partnership expands Huddle Up for Health, introduces ticket-funded grants and opens the CareFirst Club Level at M&T Bank Stadium to Maryland nonprofits throughout the year.
The Baltimore Ravens and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield are expanding their long-running partnership beyond traditional stadium sponsorship, using a newly branded club level at M&T Bank Stadium as a year-round community platform for health programming, nonprofit gatherings and employer engagement.
The multi-year renewal deepens Huddle Up for Health, the partners’ community grant program and health platform, while redesignating a premium gameday space as the CareFirst Club Level. The club level will remain a premium seating environment during Ravens games, but it will also be made available free of charge to Maryland nonprofit and community organizations for events, health-focused programming, and convenings.

The approach gives the partnership a more tangible operating model: the sponsorship is attached not only to signage and hospitality, but to a physical asset that can host programming throughout the year.
Mack McGee, Chief Marketing Officer at CareFirst, said the new space is intended to give organizations a setting to create programming and experiences that drive community impact.
“The opportunity [is] to open up this space both on and beyond game day to community organizations and employers who want to come in and create programming and experiences to drive an impact.” — Mack McGee, Chief Marketing Officer, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
For the first time, Huddle Up for Health will award two grants in one year. In 2026, MD New Directions will receive $50,000 to expand career training, coaching and employment support, while Out For Justice will receive $30,000 to support reentry services and civic engagement for people impacted by the criminal legal system.
Both organizations will also receive in-kind access to the CareFirst Club Level for gatherings, programming and convenings. Since launching in 2023, Huddle Up for Health funding has reached $230,000, supporting Maryland nonprofits working across behavioral health, grief support, youth leadership, workforce development, reentry support and community well-being.
The renewed partnership also introduces an Every Ticket Gives Back model. A portion of proceeds from every CareFirst Club Level game ticket will contribute to Huddle Up for Health, connecting premium hospitality revenue to continuing community investment.
That move is notable because it creates a direct link between the gameday commercial product and the partnership’s social-impact agenda. Rather than funding the program only through an annual sponsorship allocation, each ticket becomes part of the platform’s funding mechanism.
The expanded arrangement also includes programming for CareFirst customers and community partners around workforce health, well-being and collective impact. These events will use the club level as a convening space designed to connect employers, nonprofits and community organizations with CareFirst initiatives.
Kevin Rochlitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for the Baltimore Ravens, said the new agreement builds on more than two decades of collaboration.
“Our longstanding partnership with CareFirst reflects a shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of communities across Maryland. By expanding the Huddle Up for Health program and opening the CareFirst Club Level at M&T Bank Stadium as a year-round community asset, we're creating new opportunities to support the organizations doing critical work.” — Kevin Rochlitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, Baltimore Ravens
The club level’s first community activation hosted a volunteer event for United Way, offering an early indication of how the venue will function outside of game days.
CareFirst and the Ravens have previously partnered on initiatives including the Fresh Food Mobile, which has delivered more than 320,000 meals with the Maryland Food Bank. The expanded Huddle Up for Health platform adds a physical gathering place, new grant capacity, and a ticket-supported funding stream to that existing community portfolio.
For sports organizations, the partnership illustrates how premium inventory can be reframed as a shared community asset. A club level is typically valued for hospitality, views, food and beverage, and client entertainment. Here, the Ravens and CareFirst are extending that value proposition into nonprofit access, workforce programming, and regional health initiatives.
The result is a sponsorship model that combines brand visibility, premium experience, commercial activation, and measurable community engagement in the same venue asset.
