OCVIBE Reveals SENA Hotel Design, José Andrés Restaurant for Honda Center District
The 300-plus-room Autograph Collection hotel is planned for 2029, with Rockwell Group interiors, a José Andrés restaurant and Sage Hospitality operations.
OCVIBE has unveiled the design for SENA, a 300-plus-room hotel planned for 2029 within the mixed-use district surrounding Honda Center in Anaheim. It will be the city’s first property in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
WATG is designing the building and landscape architecture. Its terraced base and glass façade will face the district’s South Plaza and the arena. Rockwell Group is designing the guestrooms, restaurant and amenity spaces. Plans call for a circular lobby bar that will serve as a gathering point throughout the day.
A ground-floor signature restaurant from José Andrés will be open to hotel guests, district visitors and Anaheim residents. An indoor-outdoor lobby bar will overlook South Plaza and Honda Center. Plans also include a pool bar with cabanas, fire features, landscaping and music programming.
Sage Hospitality Group will operate the hotel and oversee service across its rooms, dining, bars, meetings and events. SENA is scheduled to follow OCVIBE’s first phase, which is expected to open in 2027 with a concert hall, market hall and office space.
