Monumental Opens Membership Sales for New dancker Club at Capital One Arena
The reimagined Players Club will pair some of Capital One Arena’s closest seats with all-inclusive dining, premium beverages, and a redesigned hospitality environment as part of Monumental’s $1 billion-plus transformation.
Monumental Sports & Entertainment has opened membership sales for the new dancker Club, the upgraded Players Club hospitality space coming to the transformed Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
The club is part of Monumental’s broader premium transformation strategy and will serve members with some of the arena’s closest seating to the action, alongside a redesigned club environment built around food, beverage, comfort, and service. The new arena is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2027-28 NBA and NHL seasons.
The dancker Club builds on the existing Players Club concept while giving the space a new identity through Monumental’s strategic partnership with workplace and interiors integrator dancker. The company became title sponsor of the club in 2025 and is also playing a much broader role across the arena transformation, providing furniture, audiovisual technology, logistics, and inventory management solutions.
Working with Gensler, dancker spent six months planning more than 15,000 products and solutions with a 70-person team spanning its various divisions. That work extends across premium seating, lounges, team areas, offices, executive boardrooms, business and conference spaces, and the arena’s technology infrastructure. DBE Systems, dancker’s technology division, is supplying advanced displays and AV systems in suites and other spaces, while d’ploy is providing logistics and asset-management support.
“Capital One Arena is the heartbeat of downtown D.C., and this partnership ensures it continues serving our community in bold new ways. Together with dancker, we’re designing a venue that blends innovation, comfort, and inspiration to set a new standard for the modern arena, and a benchmark in developing multipurpose destinations for the community.” – Jim Van Stone, President of Business Operations and Chief Commercial Officer, Monumental Sports & Entertainment
Food and beverage will be a core part of the club experience. Monumental’s wider premium program at Capital One Arena is being developed around all-inclusive dining, chef-driven service, upgraded bars, and more personalized hospitality. Aramark is part of Monumental’s Creative Council for the arena transformation and is helping shape the venue’s broader culinary and hospitality program.

The arena’s evolving premium portfolio already includes the United Globe Club, United Globe Lounge, The Halo, Theater Boxes, The Blueprint Studios, Lexus Vaults, and Innovation Suites, creating a broader range of hospitality products for individual buyers, corporate entertaining, small groups, and high-end VIP customers.
The United Globe Club, for example, will span more than 24,000 square feet across two levels and provide a progressive all-inclusive dining program, chef stations, premium beer and wine, and extended pregame and postgame access. The more exclusive United Globe Lounge adds butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, seasonal chef collaborations, premium cocktails, concierge service, and a full-service open bar for Row A glass-seat members.
The dancker Club adds another product to that premium ladder while also serving as a showcase for dancker’s broader role in creating the physical environment of the building.
“This transformation is about more than modernizing a venue, it’s about revitalizing a community hub. Together with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, we’re creating spaces where employees feel empowered, fans feel energized, and visitors feel welcomed.” – Nathan Kooi, President, dancker
The club is part of the $1 billion-plus redevelopment of Capital One Arena, which Monumental Sports & Entertainment is delivering with the District of Columbia. Clark Construction Group is leading construction, Gensler is the design partner, and CAA ICON is providing project-management expertise. Other partners involved in shaping the arena include Elevate, Élan Arc, Sports & The Arts, and Aramark.
When complete, the reimagined Capital One Arena is expected to host approximately 250 events annually and remain home to the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Georgetown men’s basketball, along with select Washington Mystics games, concerts, family shows, and other major events.
The opening of dancker Club memberships continues Monumental’s gradual rollout of individual premium products well ahead of the completed arena, giving buyers an increasingly detailed look at how the venue’s new clubs, suites, hospitality spaces, and F&B experiences will fit together when the transformation is complete.
