Marshall Athletics is expanding its premium hospitality portfolio across its two primary venues, unveiling a renovated Big Green Room at Joan C. Edwards Stadium for the 2026 football season and a collection of new and reimagined premium spaces at Cam Henderson Center for the 2026-27 basketball season. The additions include new all-inclusive dining, club experiences, courtside products, and upgraded hospitality spaces.

At Joan C. Edwards Stadium, Marshall has completed a renovation of the Big Green Room, the climate-controlled hospitality space serving Chairback ticket holders. Improvements include new flooring, fresh paint and finishes, updated Marshall branding and graphics, new décor, and a redesigned gameday layout intended to improve comfort and circulation. Access will now be limited exclusively to Chairback ticket holders, with tickets verified throughout games.

“Throughout the offseason, we’ve spent a lot of time listening to our fans and asking what would make their game-day experience better. The feedback was clear—they wanted a more comfortable, more premium space to gather before and during the game, additional food options and an overall upgraded experience. These enhancements are a direct result of those conversations, and we’re excited to continue delivering the kind of experience our fans deserve.” – Gerald Harrison, Vice President and Director of Athletics, Marshall University

The renovation also introduces the Big Green Buffet, a new optional all-you-can-eat dining experience available exclusively to Chairback ticket holders. Priced at $49.99 per person per game, the buffet includes select non-alcoholic beverages and operates from one hour before kickoff through the start of the third quarter. Sodexo will create a different menu for each home game featuring specialty items not offered at the stadium’s public concession stands.

Chairback season tickets are priced at $625 per seat, including a $325 season ticket and $300 per-seat contribution to the Big Green Scholarship Foundation. Single-game Chairback tickets start at $100. Both include Big Green Room access and eligibility to purchase the buffet. Other amenities include private restrooms and dedicated concessions.

“We challenged ourselves throughout this process to ask one simple question: ‘If I were purchasing this product, what would I want?’ The answer kept coming back to comfort, convenience and creating a more complete game-day experience. Every enhancement—from the renovated space and improved layout to the new Big Green Buffet—was driven by conversations with our fans.” – Ryan Crisp, Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation, Marshall Athletics

At Cam Henderson Center, Marshall is simultaneously broadening its basketball hospitality mix with a completely renovated Hartley Room, a new Courtside Lounge, the Dough Daddy’s Sky Deck, Thunder Tables, and additional courtside seating for the 2026-27 season.

The reimagined Hartley Room will serve as Marshall Basketball’s signature hospitality space, featuring upgraded finishes, catered dining at every game, beer, wine, and premium cocktails. It will be the only hospitality space in Cam Henderson Center offering full liquor service and will operate from two hours before tipoff through halftime. Membership is $750 per person, with returning members offered a $625 first-year rate through Oct. 15. A game ticket is sold separately, allowing members to pair club access with their preferred seating location.

The new Courtside Lounge, located outside the men’s basketball locker room and steps from the court, will provide another pregame hospitality option. The lounge includes televisions, beer and wine service, popcorn, hot dogs, and pretzels. Guests will also be positioned along the team’s route to the court, allowing them to interact with players as they head out for the game. Season-long access is priced at $250 per person, excluding a game ticket.

Marshall is also expanding its all-inclusive inventory through the Dough Daddy’s Sky Deck. The $1,200 season package combines admission to every home game with food, beer, and wine. Dough Daddy’s will cater pizza, wings, and a full meal at each game. Rather than assigned seats, the Sky Deck uses general admission seating that allows guests to move and socialize throughout the space while overlooking the court.

Thunder Tables add a different courtside product, with season seats priced at $500 and in-seat concession service. Food and beverages are purchased separately, with servers taking orders and delivering them directly to the tables. Marshall is also adding more traditional courtside seating for the upcoming season.

“We are incredibly excited to bring these new premium experiences to Marshall Basketball. We have amazing fans who bring so much energy and passion to our programs, and we want to continue finding new ways for them to experience gamedays in Huntington and connect with the Herd. These spaces are about creating something special for our fans while also being intentional about generating new revenue that we can reinvest back into our student-athletes and programs.” – Niesha Campbell, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Marshall Athletics

The investments follow Marshall’s January launch of Herd Hospitality & Entertainment, a new department that brings revenue generation, fan engagement, marketing, premium experiences, and analytics under a coordinated strategy. The department also oversees efforts to generate additional use of Marshall’s athletic venues through concerts, weddings, meetings, and other special events.
