Final renderings have been released for the $400 million renovation of Camping World Stadium, providing the clearest look yet at the transformation of Orlando’s primary outdoor sports and entertainment venue. Designed by DLR Group, the project will rebuild much of the stadium’s upper structure while introducing new premium hospitality, upgraded fan amenities, and a redesigned exterior intended to position the venue for future marquee events.  

The renovation will rebuild the east and west upper seating bowls, add a new north upper bowl, and increase permanent capacity from approximately 63,000 to 65,000. Existing bleacher seating will be replaced with individual chairback seats with armrests throughout the upper levels, while concourses, concessions, restrooms, accessibility, and life-safety systems will also be modernized.  

DLR Group’s plans include expanded premium suites and upgraded club amenities integrated throughout the venue, building on the stadium’s existing suite and club inventory. The improvements are designed to strengthen Camping World Stadium’s ability to attract major college football games, international soccer, NFL events, concerts, and other large-scale entertainment programming.  

One of the most visible changes is a new exterior skin created around the structural hurricane bracing required under current building codes. The façade is designed to become a digital canvas capable of displaying event graphics and programming visible from outside the stadium.

The renovation also includes a retractable stage pocket in the south seating bowl, allowing larger concert productions to move closer to the audience while improving load-in efficiency. Updated building systems and operational improvements are intended to support a wider range of sports and entertainment events throughout the year.  

Construction began in late 2025 and is proceeding in phases to allow scheduled events to continue throughout the project. Completion is targeted for summer 2027, when Camping World Stadium is expected to serve as the temporary home of the Jacksonville Jaguars while EverBank Stadium undergoes its own redevelopment.
