BYU is adding new hospitality spaces at LaVell Edwards Stadium, including the debut of LaVell’s Lounge for the 2026 football season and infrastructure for a new two-story premium club scheduled to open in 2027.

The most significant future premium addition is the PACS Pavilion, a two-story club planned for the northwest portion of the stadium. BYU spent the past several months removing and rebuilding the infrastructure that previously connected the west and north stands, creating a new platform with a deeper foundation capable of supporting the premium facility.

The rebuilt northwest platform is ready for the 2026 season. Construction of the PACS Pavilion will begin after the season, with completion expected in time for the 2027 football season. BYU has not yet released details on the club’s capacity, seating products, F&B program, pricing, or amenities.

For 2026, the stadium will introduce LaVell’s Lounge, a new hospitality and hosting space located just off the upper concourse platform between the west and north stands and underneath the west stands.

Sponsored by Qualtrics, the lounge replaces the former Gridiron Grill West and will serve BYU Athletics guests and corporate partners. Amenities include an expanded concessions menu, new seating, televisions, updated décor, and other hospitality improvements. BYU said the lounge was developed to provide an elevated hospitality experience while creating another gathering space within LaVell Edwards Stadium.

A second new hospitality environment is opening under the east stands. The PACS Recruit Lounge will serve recruits and their families attending BYU football games, with new seating, food and beverage options, and entertainment areas. The sponsored space gives the football recruiting staff a dedicated hospitality environment for hosting prospective players and their families on gamedays. The recruiting lounge and future premium pavilion are both sponsored by PACS, extending the company's presence into two of the stadium's new hospitality environments.

The offseason work also includes renovations to the BYU home locker room, with new lockers, technology, player amenities, and other upgrades. The project follows a 2021 renovation of the program's everyday locker room in the Student Athlete Building and an upgrade to the LaVell Edwards Stadium visitors' locker room before the 2024 season.

The 2026 projects establish two new hosted environments within the existing stadium, while the structural work in the northwest corner sets up the larger premium expansion scheduled for next year. The PACS Pavilion will add a purpose-built, two-story premium club to the stadium when it opens for the 2027 season.

New PACS Recruit Lounge Located under the east stands, a newly constructed recruiting lounge will serve as a central hub for recruits and their families visiting LaVell Edwards Stadium for a BYU Football game. The lounge will feature new seating, food and beverage options and entertainment areas. The new space is sponsored by PACS and will provide the BYU Football recruiting staff with another resource to create an exceptional and memorable experience for recruits and their families. Home Locker Room Upgrade The BYU home locker room at LaVell Edwards Stadium was renovated this offseason, providing the team with upgraded features and resources, including new lockers, technology, player amenities and other improvements. The day-to-day BYU Football locker room in the Student Athlete Building was renovated in 2021. The visitors’ locker room at LaVell Edwards Stadium was upgraded prior to the 2024 season. LaVell’s Lounge New this season, LaVell’s Lounge will provide a new hospitality and hosting space just off the upper concourse platform between the west and north stands, under the west stands. The new platform features a deeper foundation designed to support the addition of a new, two-story premium club that will occupy the space. While the northwest platform is newly constructed and ready for the 2026 season, construction of the PACS Pavilion will begin following the 2026 season. The two-story premium club is expected to be completed in time for the 2027 season.
