Boston Legacy FC Extends Centreville Bank Stadium Stay Through 2027
The NWSL club will spend another season in Pawtucket, where suites, field-level clubs, and all-inclusive hospitality provide a premium bridge before the move into a rebuilt White Stadium in 2028.
Boston Legacy FC will play its entire 2027 NWSL home schedule at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, before moving into its permanent home at White Stadium in Boston in 2028. The decision follows a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruling that cleared the legal path for Boston Legacy and the City of Boston to complete the White Stadium redevelopment.
The extra season in Pawtucket gives the club continuity at a 10,500-seat soccer-specific venue where it has already established a substantial premium hospitality program. Opened in 2025 and home to Rhode Island FC, Centreville Bank Stadium features a compact, arena-like lower bowl designed to keep fans close to the field, along with suites, field-level clubs, and all-inclusive hospitality spaces.

Boston Legacy’s Premium West Club at Centreville Bank Stadium provides Club and Field Level ticket holders access to an indoor, climate-controlled lounge with all-inclusive food and beverages. The space also functions beyond matchdays as a 3,100-square-foot event venue with mobile bars, lounge seating, a premium sound system, and panoramic views of the pitch and river.
When the club plays some games at Gillette Stadium, fans have access to the Optum Lounge, which pairs midfield seating behind the player benches with access to a climate-controlled field-level lounge positioned along the players’ route to and from the field. Food, soft drinks, beer, and wine are included.
Another field-level product at Gillette Stadium is the Celebration Beer Hall, which places guests steps from the pitch and provides an exclusive view of the player procession from the locker rooms. The package includes all-inclusive food, soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits.
Private luxury suites add another premium tier. Centreville Bank Stadium suites include 16 seats with capacity for as many as 32 guests and can be purchased annually, through multi-match bundles, or for individual games. The stadium also markets its suites as private event spaces outside matchdays, with individual suites ranging from approximately 270 to 550 square feet and including premium seating, catering, and beverage options.

The 2027 season also becomes part of Boston Legacy’s transition strategy to White Stadium. The club is offering two-year memberships that cover Centreville Bank Stadium in 2027 and White Stadium in 2028, with Day One Members receiving priority access to seats at the new venue, preferred pricing, exclusive events, merchandise benefits, discounts, and ticket-exchange privileges.
White Stadium is now scheduled to open for Boston Legacy in 2028 after the court ruling removed the largest legal obstacle facing the project. Construction crews are working six days a week, with structural steel installation and underground utility improvements underway. The rebuilt stadium will have 10,500 permanent seats, a natural-grass field, modern amenities, and a more intimate soccer configuration while remaining a Boston Public Schools-owned public asset.
The combined public and private redevelopment represents an investment of more than $325 million. The City of Boston has established a $135 million construction cost for its publicly funded east-side work, with BOND Building Construction serving as general contractor. Boston Legacy’s private development partner, Boston Unity Soccer Partners, is investing more than $190 million in the west side, financed in part through a Bank of America loan.

The White Stadium project will also significantly expand public use, increasing access from 35 hours to 105 hours per week and more than doubling Boston Public Schools programming from roughly 250 hours annually to at least 700.
For Boston Legacy, the additional year in Rhode Island means another season operating within a purpose-built soccer venue with a developed premium ladder already in place, while giving the club more time to transition members, hospitality buyers, and corporate clients toward its permanent Boston home in 2028.
