The University of Arkansas is expanding premium seating at Baum-Walker Stadium with 18 new loge boxes scheduled to open for the 2027 baseball season, more than doubling the number of loge products currently available at the home of Razorbacks baseball.

The new boxes will be constructed this fall along the third-base line. Arkansas currently has 14 loge boxes located in the right-field corner, bringing the potential total to 32 when the new inventory opens. The existing loge boxes are sold on a full-season basis and are among the stadium’s most exclusive seating products.

The expansion comes as Arkansas undertakes a comprehensive reseating process for Baum-Walker Stadium ahead of the 2027 season, including changes to Razorback Foundation donation requirements for some season-ticket holders.

Arkansas said revenue generated through the changes will support the baseball program and continued improvements to the fan experience.

The existing loge boxes provide a model for the premium product already offered at Baum-Walker. Each accommodates four guests and includes a small television and refrigerator. The boxes provide a semi-private, open-air environment while keeping guests connected to the game. The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that the new boxes will accommodate four to six guests each.

Current loge boxes are available only as full-season products to Razorback Foundation members. Buyers must qualify at the Broyles-Matthews Diamond membership level, requiring annual giving of at least $40,000, and inventory is allocated according to membership level and priority-point ranking among members on the loge waiting and improvement list.

Baum-Walker also has 34 luxury suites, which are similarly sold for the full season to qualifying Razorback Foundation members. Suite pricing varies according to location and size, with availability allocated annually based on membership level and priority points.

The 2027 reseating process will affect the broader seating bowl as Arkansas reorganizes season-ticket inventory around the premium expansion. Current chairback season-ticket holders will be guaranteed their existing quantity of season tickets if they contribute at the Razorback Foundation’s Big Hog membership level, $500 to $999 annually, or higher. That contribution does not guarantee retention of the same seat location.

Hog Pen season-ticket holders will retain all of their seats without a new minimum donation requirement. All fans seeking season tickets, including existing holders, will need to complete a Season Ticket Request Form to receive a seat-selection appointment. Selection priority will be determined by Razorback Foundation membership level and priority-point ranking. Seats already retained by Broyles-Matthews Diamond members will be excluded from the available public inventory.

The new loge boxes continue a series of premium additions to Baum-Walker Stadium. The J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Baseball Development Center previously added loge seating along with a Pro Club Lounge, team dining and nutrition center, training facilities, hitting and pitching labs, and other baseball operations spaces. WER Architects designed that project, with Kinco Constructors serving as contractor. Kinco also constructed the original Baum-Walker Stadium and two subsequent additions.

Arkansas has not yet released pricing, final amenities, design partners, or construction partners specifically for the 18 new 2027 loge boxes. The university’s existing premium program, however, shows strong demand for both suites and loge products, with each allocated through waiting and improvement lists as availability permits.

The expansion will add an estimated 72 to 108 premium seats based on the reported four-to-six-seat configuration, while increasing Baum-Walker’s loge inventory from 14 to 32 boxes.
