Benfica Opens 160-Guest Emirates Lounge at Estádio da Luz
The new matchday lounge pairs pitch views with Vítor Matos dining and is also available for corporate events.
Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Emirates have opened the Emirates Lounge at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. The 160-guest space debuted before Benfica’s match against Vitória SC.
The lounge combines pitch views, fine dining and personalized service. Architect and interior designer Miguel Câncio Martins developed a setting inspired by landscapes of the United Arab Emirates, including desert dunes and the ghaf tree. The space extends the Benfica–Emirates partnership, which began in 2014 and runs through 2029.

Vítor Matos leads the culinary program. Benfica says the chef has six Michelin stars associated with restaurants under his culinary direction. At selected matches, guest chefs will join him to create collaborative menus. Laurent-Perrier, RIEDEL and Vista Alegre are also partners in the service program.
Beyond matchdays, the lounge is available for meetings, presentations, dinners and other corporate or institutional events. Benfica describes it as its most exclusive corporate space at the stadium.
