The **Tampa Bay Rays** have named **Legends Global** owner’s representative for their planned new ballpark and put the company in charge of sponsorship, premium seating and suite sales. The long-term agreement places Legends on both sides of a project targeted to open in 2029: helping the team deliver the building and shaping how its most valuable experiences reach the market.

As owner’s representative, Legends will work for the Rays from pre-design through project closeout. Its remit includes oversight of budgets, construction schedules, quality and risk, plus coordination with architects and contractors. The Rays previously selected **Populous** as design lead for the ballpark.

The commercial assignment goes beyond selling finished inventory. Legends will provide market analysis, product design and development, data strategy and sales execution for naming rights, founding partnerships, premium seats and suites. That gives the firm a role in defining the products before they go on sale, while the design of the venue is still evolving.

A joint Rays–Legends team will be based in Tampa. Legends has appointed **Todd Fleming** senior vice president and project lead. Fleming spent nearly 14 years on Legends’ sales team and most recently led the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.

The planned **Forever Home** ballpark would sit on approximately 120 acres at **Hillsborough College’s Dale Mabry campus**, near Tampa’s Westshore District. The Rays estimate capacity at 31,000 and envision a venue with varied seating and gathering areas as well as spaces for events throughout the year. Earlier renderings showed configurations for concerts, graduations, sports festivals and other large gatherings, underscoring the team’s ambition for revenue and activity beyond its 81 home games.

The partnership follows local approvals in August for the broader ballpark and mixed-use project. With Legends now embedded in project oversight and commercial development, the next milestones to watch are more detailed seating and hospitality plans, the naming-rights program, and the construction schedule.
