FC Dallas and Moss Construction Break Ground on $182M Toyota Stadium Overhaul
The Frisco project will add three new clubs, expanded suite inventory and a larger premium seating mix as FC Dallas begins a phased rebuild of Toyota Stadium through early 2028.
MLS's FC Dallas and Moss Construction hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the $182M renovation of Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The project will more than double the luxury box count to 57 suites, increase club seating capacity by 175%, and grow overall venue capacity from 19,000 to approximately 22,000. The renovated east side is expected to reopen in summer 2026, with the full project slated for completion by early 2028 ahead of the venue's role as co-home for both FC Dallas and the Dallas Renegades (UFL).
“We are thrilled to be working with Moss on the phased renovation of Toyota Stadium, a project that underscores our dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our fans. Each phase of the renovation has been meticulously planned to ensure minimal disruption to our events while delivering state-of-the-art facilities.” – Dan Hunt, President, FC Dallas.

FC Dallas is marketing two expanded rings of luxury suites, with products ranging from eight-person suites with indoor space and an outdoor patio to larger suites built for 18 to 24 guests. The club’s premium materials also position the inventory around corporate outings, client entertainment and group hospitality.
Club and suite holders are also being sold on a more controlled VIP arrival and hosting experience. FC Dallas says premium guests will have access to dedicated entry through the West Gate, along with suite-level lounge and bar areas reserved for club members and suite holders. On the broader stadium side, the redesigned venue is being built with shaded seating coverage and upgraded club spaces on both the east and west sides.
“We are confident that Moss brings deep sports facility expertise and resources necessary to deliver a future-focused stadium that our fans, players, and community will be proud of.” – Dan Hunt, President, FC Dallas.
Toyota Stadium opened in 2005, and FC Dallas says the building hosts not only MLS matches but also Frisco ISD athletics, the Frisco Bowl, the FCS Championship game, international friendlies and National Soccer Hall of Fame events. The renovation is designed to update that event platform while materially increasing the building’s premium hospitality capacity and flexibility.
