Detroit Tigers Debut New Home Plate Club Premium Seating and Culinary Upgrades

The Detroit Tigers previewed a suite of new premium and fan experience upgrades for the 2026 season at Comerica Park, including new climate-controlled Home Plate Club seats featuring quick-touch heating and cooling technology developed by Michigan-based Promethient.

The MotorCity Casino Hotel Tiger Club also received a revamp, offering 88 indoor climate-controlled seats with all-inclusive food and drinks, while The Press Club — with just 26 seats adjacent to the working press box — launched as one of baseball's most intimate premium experiences. The announcements reflect the Tigers' ongoing investment in premium hospitality to match the club's on-field resurgence.

The Detroit News on Instagram: “Here’s a look at Comerica Park’s Home Plate Club seats from behind the net for @tigers fans on Opening Day. The biggest offseason project at Comerica Park was the buildout of the new luxury seating area behind home plate, the Home Plate Club, where there now are 350 high-end seats, each equipped with heating and cooling capabilities ― a first for a Major League Baseball team. The seats are being sold in season-ticket packages, either a quarter, half or full season. Ticket-holders for the seats will get private parking, a private ballpark entrance from the north, and all-inclusive food and beverage options. #detroitnews #tigers #openingday #detroit #vip”
