Dayton Dragons Sign New Suite-Level Naming Rights Deal
The long-term agreement puts a local brand on one of Day Air Ballpark’s most important premium assets and includes planned renovations to the venue’s 25 luxury suites over the next two offseasons.
The Dayton Dragons have signed a new naming-rights partnership with Craftsmen Home Improvements for the suite level at Day Air Ballpark, extending a local brand into one of the venue’s most visible premium hospitality zones. Under the long-term agreement, the space will now be known as the Craftsmen Home Improvements Suite Level.
“We are very excited to begin our new partnership with Craftsmen Home Improvements. This company has a history of doing great work. They are first class and professional in everything they do.” – Robert Murphy, President, Dayton Dragons
The suite level includes 25 luxury suites along with the ballpark’s entertainment control center, television and radio broadcast booths, press box area, and related spaces, making it a key hospitality and client-entertainment platform inside the building. The Dragons also describe the suite level as one of the region’s central business networking environments, with more than 70 of the top 100 companies in the area booking suites there and 66 of the top 100 employers using the space for outings.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Dayton Dragons. As a company that was born and built in Dayton, it’s important to us to align with organizations that are such a meaningful part of this community. Together, we represent over 55 years of serving Dayton, and we’re excited to continue investing in the place we call home.” – Kyle Skotnicki, Chief Financial Officer, Craftsmen Home Improvements
The partnership includes a plan to renovate the luxury suites after each of the next two seasons, giving the Dragons a phased upgrade to one of the ballpark’s core VIP products. Branding will be integrated throughout the guest journey, including the suite entrance, suite-level spaces, wayfinding points, and concourse LCD displays.
“This is going to dovetail perfectly into what Craftsmen Home Improvements does every day in our community.” – Robert Murphy, President, Dayton Dragons
For venue and sponsorship executives, the structure of the deal is notable because it combines three layers at once: naming rights, premium-space renovation, and business community visibility. Craftsmen Home Improvements, a Kettering-based remodeling company acquired by new ownership in 2025, said it is using the partnership to build regional awareness across Dayton and Cincinnati, while the Dragons are pairing a local sponsor with a premium environment that already functions as a year-round relationship and entertainment platform.
